Dr. Abdul Azeez Al-Rashed | Chairman

Dr. Abdul Azeez Al-Rashed holds a Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. AI-Rashed is a member of the board of directors of Contracting and Marine Services Company (1998-present), a member of the board of National industries group (2018-present), a member of the board of Kuwait Cement Company (2018-present) and the Chairman of Kuwait Drilling CO. K.S.C.C. (1998-present).

Saeed Mohammad Al-Shaheen | Deputy Chairman

Saeed Mohammad Al-Shaheen is a Kuwaiti National. Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California – United States in 1988. Saeed has 33 years of experience in the Oil sector. He started his career progression from Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), to leading positions in Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC), and Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC).

Mr. Waleed Al Ben Ali | Board Member

Waleed started his career in Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) in 1990. He then joined Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company in 2003 (KUFPEC – the upstream subsidiary of state-owned Kuwait Petroleum Corporation) in the Finance Department and was later promoted to Manager, Commercial during 2012, where he was responsible for the Tax, Treasury, Marketing and Insurance. Since 2 May 2019, he has been the Executive Vice President – Planning & Finance at Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI – the international downstream subsidiary of state-owned Kuwait Petroleum Corporation). He is also the Acting Executive Vice President – Finance & Admin in KUFPEC since February 2020.

Mr. Fahed Salem Al-Ajmi | Board Member

Graduated from the USA with a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering. In 1980, he joined KOC as an Engineer and then progressed to become Deputy Chairman and Deputy Managing Director. He moved to Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) as Chairman and Managing Director, then joined Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) as Chairman and Managing Director. During this time, he also became a KPC board member and still continues to hold this position.

Mr. Ahmad Al-Hamad | Board Member

Ahmad Al Hamad has been working in the Oil industry since 1989. He started as a Junior Administrator and worked his way up to Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Administration & Finance. Since 2019, he has served on the Board of Directors at Kuwait Drilling CO. K.S.C.C.

Mr. Ayman Al-Banwan | Board Member

Ayman Banwan Al Banwan graduated from San Jose State University in 1998, majoring in Economics. He started his career in Kuwait Cement Company in 1999 as an Investment Portfolio Manager. He is the board member of the Contracting and Marine Services Company and a member of Shuwaikh Cement Company.
