Dr. Abdul Azeez Al-Rashed | Chairman

Dr. Abdul Azeez Al-Rashed holds a Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. AI-Rashed is a member of the board of directors of Contracting and Marine Services Company (1998-present), a member of the board of National industries group (2018-present), a member of the board of Kuwait Cement Company (2018-present) and the Chairman of Kuwait Drilling CO. K.S.C.C. (1998-present).

Mr. Saeed Mohammad Al-Shaheen | Deputy Chairman

Saeed Mohammad Al-Shaheen is a Kuwaiti National. Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California – United States in 1988. Saeed has 33 years of experience in the Oil sector. He started his career progression from Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), to leading positions in Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC), and Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC).

Mr. Issam Abdulaziz Al Osaimi | Board Member

Issam Abdulaziz AlOsaimi graduated from Kuwait University in 1989 and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and he Worked at the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation from 1989 to 2025 in the fields of oil industries, corporate governance, developing and drafting administrative regulations and strategies, and establishing and liquidating companies.

Mr. Fahed Salem Al-Ajmi | Board Member

Graduated from the USA with a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering. In 1980, he joined KOC as an Engineer and then progressed to become Deputy Chairman and Deputy Managing Director. He moved to Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) as Chairman and Managing Director, then joined Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) as Chairman and Managing Director. During this time, he also became a KPC board member and still continues to hold this position.

Mr. Ghanim Naser Al-Otaibi | Board Member

Ghanim Al-Otaibi holds a Bachelors of Chemical Engineering (1992) and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (1997). Ghanim has over 30 years of experience in the Oil Sector, specializing in Projects Management, Business Development and Refinery Process design. His expertise includes overseeing Large–Scale projects, Leading Business Development initiatives and Managing Strategic Operations in Refining. He has held multiple roles at Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) and Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI), including Vice President of Business Development & Projects (Asia). He is currently serving as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC).

Mr. Ayman Al-Banwan | Board Member

Ayman Banwan Al Banwan graduated from San Jose State University in 1998, majoring in Economics. He started his career in Kuwait Cement Company in 1999 as an Investment Portfolio Manager. He is the board member of the Contracting and Marine Services Company and a member of Shuwaikh Cement Company.
